When K-pop gets amazing and makes love to j-rock, miracles happen. And name of one of those beautiful and talented miracles is Dreamcatcher. These girls are amazing, rocking to songs that could be anime openings (and damn good anime ops, to be honest!), with their flawless vocals, dancing, singing and rapping, they are a k-pop that I feel like everyone could enjoy!
Their concept is horror (they debuted on Friday, 13th for God's sake!), those that love happy, bubbly things and sun shining on them 25/8 probably won't find much to love, but those that find spooky concepts pretty amazing, well, you're welcome ♥

Just today they released their first album (they released two singles previously) and 'Fly High' is the title track. In Good night and Catch me (the singles) they showed the girls hunting/being hunted by a certain man, and this time we catch glimpses of their life before all the spookiness happened, and also there is something fishy going on with the girls acting as if possessed and whatsnot.
The song sounds pretty catchy, rock and sweet melodies thrown together may seem happy at first, but from the beginning there is something deeper, something that tells you that shit is about to hit the fan.

Here, have a look at their MV and stream it for about a day or seven ♥

A little fun fact, they filmed this in France. Amazing locations!

Lyrics translation, Source:

Fly high yeah
Fly high
Let’s get it started

At the tip of the darkness
It feels like you’re looking at me
You keep shaking me up
I’m lost in your dreams
(Fake it Brake it)
Like I’m trapped in forgotten time
I’m trapped
In this night
A dangerous rainbow is engraved
It’s like a big black hole in my heart
I’m trapped in the dream
If only I could stop time
I can fake it, fly high
Colored with the seven lights
So every night, I can fall asleep next to you forever
(Can’t live without you)
I can make it, come closer
Take all of my dreams
I’ll quietly hide inside and take you away
Fly high
Let’s get it started
I close my eyes but you keep getting clearer
Something pulls me
The more you try to escape, the more I want you
I can’t ever stop
(Fake it Brake it)
Like a thorny rose
Ycan’t escape
A dangerous rainbow appears
On the other side of the mirror
It’s like a big black hole in my heart
I’m trapped in the dream
If only I could stop time
I can fake it, fly high
Colored with the seven lights
So every night, I can fall asleep next to you forever
(Can’t live without you)
I can make it, come closer
Take all of my dreams
I’ll quietly hide inside and take you away
Even your lost dreams are at the tip of my cold fingers
Come into my dream without anyone knowing
You can’t escape
I can fake it, don’t stop
Don’t try to get away from me
You can’t fall asleep forever in this dream
I can make it, fly high
Take away all my pain
I’ll quietly hide inside and take you away
It’s like a big black hole in my heart
I’m trapped in the nightmare
This video is a collab with Temi and Anet - two of the best people I've ever had the honour to meet and be friends with! They are fashionable, artistic and damn good at what they do!
Anet and Temi shot the video, I cut it and was a damn swearing pain on a bike (reference to a CERTAIN scene in the video, let me tell you, I hate riding bicycles T^T), Temi coloured the video and also she is the creative mind behind the idea, isn't she just perfect? ♥

We had two days to shoot the video, and I have to say that weather was on our side! I mean, let's not talk about all those bloody sacrifices we had to make, right? ♫♪♫"

Anyways, please have a look at out first ever video, whose Behind The Scenes will be eventually cut... eventually being the keyword here (✿´ ꒳ ` )
