The topic of this week's (or year's in my case, I told you I was bad at weekly challenges...) is
Something you like about Wakana (can't say everything)
Wakana, for me, was for a long time 'just someone who was there'. Like I wrote in Week 5, Keiko had been everything for me for a long time, I didn't pay any special attention to others. I knew Wakana was there, she had a great voice, her high notes were surely the work of angels, and she was gorgeous, but my interest in her wasn't spiked until four or so years ago when I decided to really pay attention to everyone in Kalafina equally.
When I think about Wakana, the first thing that pops up in my head is definitely her voice...duh... Who would have thought, right? But really, her voice has that tragic quality that gives Kalafina's song it's devastating and sad tone. I remember in one interview Kajiura said that Wakana's voice is like windpipes, perfect for tragedies. And yes, that's completely true! When she sings in that epic voice of hers, I get vivid sad and touching images in my head, be it about separated lovers, someone saying goodbye to a place or a person, or just general unfairness of this world. Heck, even when she sings about meadows full of blooming flowers, I want to cry!

Now, what else I love about her is her secret dorkiness, and of course her love for sharks! It's so cute! I mean, sharks aren't generally well loved animals, but she loves the so much and with such passion, you simply have to love her for her love of sharks
She has a really interesting expression when she's not smiling, not doing anything. She's not expressionless, she has this soft look, like she's calling for you to come closer, almost like she's from a fairytale and she's inviting you.
She's really sweet to other members! Be it on or off stage, she loves Keiko and Hikaru and everybody can see it! I like people that are able to show their emotions freely ♥
All in all, she is a gentle ray of sunshine, lady that I would love to meet in person. I really love how she is the 'mother' of the group, she is my inspiration when it comes to practicing quiet kindness and gentle ladiness ♥
I was away on a conference, and I am bad at doing challenges, therefore I'm a little failure and skipped a week. I am sorry!
Last time I talked about Keiko, and this week the spotlight is on Hikaru! Week 6 - What do you like about Hikaru ♥
I have to honest, when I started listening to Kalafina, Hikaru was my least favourite member. I don't have any idea why, she just didn't strike me as something amazing. And now, I can only strangle myself with a scarf because, boy, I was so stupid! Hikaru is a little ball of awkward sunshine and I love her!
I love her awkwardness most of all! She is so painfully shy, and sometimes when she talks during interviews, she has this 'I don't want to talk, I don't know what I am saying, someone please save me' air around her, and I can sympathize with her on a spiritual level.
Her short hair! Once she cut her hair she started to shine even more! It suits her so much more and giver her a certain character. I think she looks much more confident with short hair ♥ Also, her smile is amazing! ♥
She has this etheral beauty around her. She seems like she is from another world, too good and gorgeous for this world. She is so delicate but at the same time she's like a tree, planted and certain in her place.
She enjoys singing and live performing so much! She may be shy but when it comes to singing and enjoying the show, she is on fire! She can jump all over the stage, never lacking any confidence, she rocks and she knows it!
All in all, let me love this ray of sunshine! She is precious and anyone who says something bad about her will be shunned into you'rebadville B>
...Okay, so, here's the thing. Keiko is my ultimate bias out of everyone in this whole universe, if there is someone for whom I would gladly die or paint myself orange, she is the one...
Hey there, everyone! I know that I am not posting as much as I would like to post, but school's killing me. In a week I am supposed to be at a conference in Krakow and these last two weeks were spend doing stuff I should have already done like two months ago. Not fun, I tell ya.
Anyways, this week's topic is~
Something you like about Keiko (can't say everything)
...Why the fuck can't I say everything when I love everything about her? Uuurgh, okay, here is my essay, put your seatbelt on!
Keiko is... How would I describe her. She is an amazing singer! She's been my idol and role model when it comes to singing ever since I became a part of my grammar school's choir back when I was 15. I love her deep alto notes, they are so mysterious, teasing and yet tragic and full of power. Just like dark chocolate, that good and expensive kind. She is the most stable live singer out of all three. When she sings, it resonates with my soul. Actually, it was her voice that captivated me at the beginning and also her voice that always brings me back into my Kalfina obsession ocean.
She is beautiful. She may be a tiny little thing, but I like tiny little things, and she has that spark in her eyes and a wicked smile that makes me happy. That mole near her eye is just an added bonus to her already perfect visage!
Her long hair! Before I understood that I have to take care of my hair and get regular trims, I tried to grow out my hair so it would be long as hers. Needless to say, I had to cut of most of my hair because they were simply damaged because I always sucked when it came to hair care. Anyways! Her hair is still my goal! ♥
Her fashion style matches mine! She like gothic and elegant things, is influenced by macabre and I love that! She is actually my daily fashion icon. Also, she likes cute comfortable looking things! All in all, her style is on point!
He singing face. It's called kabe-don and Hikaru and Wakana repeatedly commented on Keiko's ability to be this cool seducing member who sings without even moving one muscle and yet, people are spreading their legs open for them. Okay, not exactly in these words, but you get the idea, right? I am not the only one who is screaming 'I will have your baby!' everytime the camera shows Keiko when she is singing one of her long notes.
Also, she is seducing the other members left and right and I love it! Seductive people are my favourite people!
Also, she's a giant dork. I love dorky people! She can be seen fooling around with her members at their lives, and it just warms my heart because she can be the most tasty dark chocolate you've ever tasted or the funkiest poptart of your life! ♥
So... yeah. You may have noticed I am kind of bunkers over her. If you ever want me to shut up, don't mention her in front of me. If you're looking for a topic of conversation, mention her! ♥
